Player News 11/5

A lot of big injuries this week, Let’s get to it.

Antonio Gates (Feet)- was downgraded to doubtful for Week 9 and missed hasn’t practiced all week. Not good for the Chargers. Rivers can work wonders, but this might be too much to overcome with Legedu Naanee and Malcolm Floyd also out this week. Patrick Crayton will be the lone cat. Also expect Darren Sproles to be big factor in this game along with the Run game with Ryan Matthews and Mike Tolbert

Zach Miller and Nnamdi Asmhougha- The Raiders have listed Zach Miller (foot) and Nnamdi Asomugha (ankle) as doubtful for Week 9.

Beanie Wells (Knee)

Beanie Wells (knee, questionable) took increased practice reps on Friday and says he’ll play in Week 9 at Minnesota. Whisenhunt also said he was optimistic that Beanie would play. Still would look for other options.

Mike Hart (Ankle), Joseph Addai

The Indianapolis Star’s Phillip B. Wilson predicts that Mike Hart (ankle, questionable) will not play in Week 9. Looks like Donald Brown and Jervarris James will get all the carries with Joseph Addai also expected to miss this game. Brown is a pretty good option as a flex this week.

Percy Harvin (Ankle)

Was extremely limited in practice Friday and is very questionable for Sunday. Check this video out. Looks like the Vikings are very desperate to get Harvin in there. Bad week to trade Randy Moss. How is gonna play and be effective running like this. Click the link

DeAngelo Williams

Is expected to miss week 9. Most likely he won’t see the field vs New Orleans.

Austin Collie (Thumb)

He practiced fully on Friday and is fully expected to play Sunday.

Owen Daniels (Hamstring, Knee)

Daniels will be a game time decision on Sunday. Look for other options, Daniels is just not healthy at all right now.
