Evening Player News 11/4

Antonio Gates (Plantar Fascia)

Norv Turner said Thursday that he’s unsure if Gates would play Sunday. Gates should go, Turner doesn’t wanna reveal his deck . Gates is a warrior. Stay tuned just in case.

Colt Mcoy

Coach Eric Mangini said Durant will start Sunday. Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme are still banged up. Only makes sense for the Browns, to see what they got in the rookie. You already know what you have in Wallace and Delhomme and it’s not much.

Mike Williams (Seattle)

Has a bruised thigh and is questionable for Sunday. Stay Tuned

Matt Hasselback (Concussion)

Has been ruled out for Sunday. Charlie Whitehurst will get the start. The Seahawks are playing at home where they are tough, but with Mike Williams questionable, Hasselback and Tackle Russell Okung out this week they could be in serious trouble against the Giants and their Defense.

Pierre Thomas (Ankle)

Pierre Thomas revealed Thursday that doctors “found something else” in his ankle when he was re-examined last week. Honestly, I feel it all over my ankle,” said Thomas. “When you touch it, I feel pain all over my ankle … So, I really messed it up. They say I really messed it up pretty bad.” Chris Ivory will get yet another start, as Reggie Bush is out again this week as well.

Beanie Wells

Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic expects Beanie Wells (knee) to be a game-time decision this week. He has been practicing just on a limited basis, Stay tuned.

Austin Collie

Phillip B. Wilson of the Indianapolis Star would be “shocked” if Austin Collie (thumb surgery) doesn’t play Sunday against the Eagles. Will see, but the Colts offense would get even more dangerous.

Owen Daniels

Coach Gary Kubiak confirmed that Owen Daniels’ hamstring injury has limited his involvement in the Texans offense. This would explan Daniels 1 catch performance against the Colts Monday night. Keep him on your bench until he proves he can produce.

Malcolm Floyd and Legedu Naanee, Craig Davis

All will be out for Sunday. Obviously Floyd is dissapointing after he was really starting to emerge. Patrick Crayton will be the #1 wideout again.

Mike Hart and Joseph Addai

Both were held out of practice on Thursday. Looks like both might miss the game this week, leaving Duties to Donald Brown

Tashard Choice

Was informed by Wade Phillips that his role would increase this week. Felix Jones has an ankle issue, but is expected to play. Marion Barber’s role could decrease.

Desean Jackson (Concussion)

Looks fine for Sunday. He has cleared tests and should be a go, he practiced fully Thursday.

Anthony Gonzalez (Knee)

Beat reporters in Indy are saying Gonzalez injury will keep him out this week and possibly the season. Feel bad for this kid, he just can’t stay healthy. Very talented player

DeAngelo Williams

The Gaston Gazette’s Steve Reed reports that DeAngelo Williams (foot) will be held out again this week versus the Saints. Jonathan Stewart will draw the start against the Saints. But with the way the Panthers are blocking, Stewart isn’t a great start.

Percy Harvin (Ankle)

With Moss out, Percy better be able to play. I think he will make it out there, he is most likely just being rested.

Fred Taylor (Toe)

Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis will remain the goaline back and is a decent flex play at Cleveland this week.
