10/28 Evening Player News

Dexter Mcluster- Will miss mutiple weeks with a high ankle sprain. He was walking on crutches and most likely will be out for at least 2-3 weeks. We have seen how lingering this injury can be look at Pierre Thomas. Jamal Charles role should increase a bit more now, as well as Tony Moeaki and Dwayne Bowe.

James Starks Packers RB- The hot waiver wire pickup has just cooled down bigtime with news that the Packers might not activate Starks off the PUP list before his eligibility runs out next week. It looks like Starks hasn’t impressed on the scout team and also Brandon Jackson has started to run better of late. It looks safe to Cut Starks from rosters.

Danario Alexander Stl WR- Another hot pickup from last week the 6’5 Alexander had a miserable game on Sunday with just one catch for 6 yards. However Rams Head Coach Steve Spagnulo said he wants to get Alexander more involved going forward because of his talent. Alexander is still a good guy to keep on rosters because of his talent, just leave him out of your lineups for now.

Pierre Thomas– is still walking on crutches. Thomas said “I really don’t know what’s the whole problem,”. “Everybody keeps saying it’s a sprain or maybe a little tear there. I don’t know for sure if that’s true. I’m hearing so many different stories. I don’t know what to believe.” This injury has really lingered and has killed owners. Reggie Bush is doubtful for this week as well so it appears Chris Ivory will get another week to start, but has a rough matchup against Pittsburgh on Sunday Night.

Early Doucet and Steve Breaston– Looks like both will return this week, but are risky options with the turrible Derek Anderson throwing the ball.

DeAngelo Williams (Foot Sprain)– Looks like he’s gonna be a full-blown game-time decision. Williams has done little yet so far this year so you should have other options set already as a Williams owner.

Legedu Naanee– Didn’t practice today, and is looking doubtful once again. Just stay away.

Donald Brown and Joseph Addai– Both missed practice Thursday. Colts beat writer Phil Wilson believes both will be out and Mike Hart will get the start. Stay tuned.

Mathias Kiwanuka– Was placed on the Injured reserve today and is out for the year. The Giants pass rush was already beasting without him , but he could have made them even more dominant.

Brett Favre– He shed his boot today so that is progress on his ankle. He is a game-time decision but again it’s Brett Farve.

Eddie Royal– He missed practice Tues and Wed with a groin injury but traveled with the team to London. Keep him out of your lineup at least one more week.

Knowshon Moreno– Tweaked his hammy on Wed, but Josh Mcdaniels expects him to play. Either way Moreno has been banged up all year and hasn’t impressed. Be wary with him.

Jonathan Joseph and Leon Hall- Both Missed practice Thursday but still could play this week. Hall has a better shot of playing. Stay tuned even if one is out it’s a huge plus for Chad Henne, Brandon Marshall and Devone Bess

Pat Chung- He returned to practice this week and should play Sunday. Chung has been nice player to have in IDP leagues this year.
