The Green Bay Packers have placed RB Ryan Grant on Injured Reserve, he is done for the season with an ankle Injury. Brandon Jackson is the hot pickup and will be the replacement for Grant. Head to the wire and grab this guy immediately, RB2 the rest of the way.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan has suggested that RB’s Shonne Greene and LaDainian Tomlinson would see close to a 50/50 time share going forward. This puts a big dent for owners to shelled out top dollar for Greene in auctions and owners who used a 2nd/3rd round pick on him. This is certainly nothing that is set in stone but its something to keep close tabs on. Tomlinson vastly outplayed Greene last night and hopefully all you Greene owners already own LT2. If you do not, you may want to place a high bid to acquire new Packer featured back Brandon Jackson.  Source: Manish Mehta on Twitter

The Jets have also once again lost DT Kris Jenkins for the season with another ACL injury. This puts a big dent once again in the center of that Jets Defense and it remains to be seen to what extent this hurts their defensive interior.

The Colts, as I predicted on our radio show last week, Safety Bob Sanders has been placed on IR with an elbow injury. This guy is an amazing talent but just can never stay on the field for a full season. A big hit to Colts run defense and they should be pretty easily run on as they were last year when they finished 31st in the league against the run.

In lesser news, the Patriots shipped RB Laurence Maroney to the already crowded Broncos backfield for Denver’s 4th round pick in 2011. The Broncos also will receive the Pats 6th round pick next year. This move shouldn’t affect Moreno’s value in Denver but monitor it closely, he may be the guy to grab as the handcuff over Buckhalter. The biggest impact this has is that now ageless wonder Fred Taylor is basically guaranteed the bulk of the load in New England. Taylor should already be owned in most leagues.
