Week 13 Early Rankings

Again this week we are rolling our rankings out early for those of you who have players in Thursday night’s game between the Eagles and Texans. Any significant injuries or player moves we will adjust our rankings as we see fit. Enjoy.

QB Rankings

1.       Michael Vick vs. HOU

2.       Aaron Rodgers vs. SF

3.       Peyton Manning vs. DAL

4.       Phillip Rivers vs. OAK

5.       Drew Brees @ CIN

6.       Jay Cutler @ DET- Cutler comes off one of his best performances of the year, 233 yards, 4 touchdowns and zero turnovers. Detroit is tough at home but Jay has the talent and the arm to overcome that.

7.       Eli Manning vs. WAS

8.       Matt Cassel vs. DEN- Has been the second highest point scorer at QB over the last four weeks, and has the Broncos at home in a great matchup.

9.       Tom Brady vs. NYJ

10.   Kyle Orton @ KC

11.   Matt Ryan @ TB

12.   Sam Bradford @ ARI- Has been spectacular during his rookie season and draws the horrific pass defense of the Cardinals this week.

13.   Matt Schaub @ PHI

14.   Ben Roethlisberger @ BAL

15.   David Garrard @ TEN

16.   Mark Sanchez @ NE

17.   Joe Flacco vs. PIT

18.   Brett Favre vs. BUF

19.   Josh Freeman vs. ATL

20.   Chad Henne vs. CLE

21.   Jon Kitna @ IND

22.   Ryan Fitzpatrick @ MIN

23.   Carson Palmer vs. NO

24.   Donavan McNabb @ NYG

25.   Matt Hasselback vs. CAR

26.   Troy Smith @ GB

27.   Derek Anderson vs. STL

28.   Kerry Collins vs. JAX

29.   Jake Delhomme @ MIA

30.   Jimmy Clausen @ SEA

31.   Jason Campbell @ SD

32.   Drew Stanton vs. CHI

RB Rankings

1.       Arian Foster @ PHI

2.       Chris Johnson vs. JAX

3.       Peyton Hillis @ MIA

4.       Adrian Peterson vs. BUF- This is assuming Peterson plays.

5.       Steven Jackson @ ARI

6.       Jamaal Charles vs. DEN

7.       Maurice Jones-Drew @ TEN

8.       Matt Forte @ DET

9.       Michael Turner @ TB- Turner ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns in their last meeting.

10.   LeSean McCoy vs. HOU

11.   Rashard Mendenhall @ BAL

12.   Knowshon Moreno @ KC

13.   Ahmad Bradshaw vs. WAS

14.   Mike Tolbert vs. OAK- Ran for over 100 yards in his last two games and Oakland ranks 28th vs. run. Mathews did return to a limited practice but is now behind Tolbert on the depth chart.

15.   Felix Jones @ IND

16.   Ray Rice vs. PIT

17.   Brian Westbrook @ GB

18.   LaDainian Tomlinson @ NE

19.   Chris Ivory- Pierre Thomas may return this week but I still believe Ivory will get the goal line carries regardless.

20.   Darren McFadden @ SD

21.   Cedric Benson vs. NO

22.   BenJarvus Green-Ellis- Will not put up big rushing stats but should find the end zone on at least one occasion.

23.   LaGarette Blount vs. ATL

24.   Brandon Jackson vs. SF

25.   Fred Jackson @ MIN- Bump up about 6-7 spots in PPR leagues

26.   Mike Goodson @ SEA

27.   Brandon Jacobs vs. WAS- Should find the end zone this week against a suspect Redskins defense.

28.   Jonathan Stewart @ SEA

29.   Shonne Greene @ NE

30.   Donald Brown vs. DAL

31.   Beanie Wells vs. STL

32.   Keiland Williams @ NYG

33.   Ronnie Brown vs. CLE

34.   Thomas Jones vs. DEN

35.   Maurice Morris vs. CHI- With Jahvid Best likely out again, look for Morris to get bulk of the carries and is slightly more valuable in PPR leagues due to his pass catching ability.

36.   Marshawn Lynch vs. CAR

37.   Reggie Bush @ CIN- I’d look for him to be much more involved in the offense this week and maybe even break a big one.

38.   Ricky Williams vs. CLE

39.   Tashard Choice @ IND- Will see his role increase with Barber out, especially around the goal line.

40.   Danny Woodhead vs. NYJ

41.   Anthony Dixon @ GB- I like Dixon to get the goal line carries this week.

42.   Toby Gerhart vs. BUF- If AP doesn’t play bump Gerhart up into the top 15 against the Bills run defense which ranks dead last vs. the run.

43.   Cadillac Williams vs. ATL

44.   James Davis @ NYG- Could steal carries from Williams like he did last week but I still like Williams over Davis for this week as Williams is the only one whose proven he can stay healthy.

45.   Justin Forsett vs. CAR

46.   Darren Sproles vs. OAK

47.   Julius Jones @ CIN

48.   Pierre Thomas @ CIN- Could return Sunday and if he does I’d rank him around RB30 as we can’t estimate how much work he’ll get.

49.   Mike Hart vs. DAL- Should play this week and could steal carries from Brown especially if he continues to be unproductive.

50.   Chester Taylor @ DET- Taylor has been horrible on the ground as of late, but maybe he just needs a Lions defense to turn that around.

WR Rankings

1.       Andre Johnson @ PHI

2.       Dwayne Bowe vs. DEN- He came up big last time they played against Champ Bailey. I’m sure they softened up the coverage with a 20+ point lead for most of the game, but nevertheless this guy has been near unstoppable and why count him out now.

3.       Greg Jennings vs. SF

4.       Roddy White @ TB

5.       Brandon Lloyd @ KC- This guy has been unbelievable all year and if not for Michael Vick, would win comeback player of the year by a landslide. He’s a legit WR1.

6.       Reggie Wayne vs. DAL

7.       Larry Fitzgerald vs. STL

8.       Desean Jackson vs. HOU

9.       Marques Colston @ CIN- Has topped 100 yards receiving the last two weeks and why should that stop now?

10.   Terrell Owens vs. NO

11.   Mario Manningham vs. WAS

12.   Jeremy Maclin vs. HOU

13.   Steve Johnson @ MIN- I think he’ll make up for that dropped game winner last week against the Steelers and then some in Minnesota.

14.   Calvin Johnson vs. CHI- Don’t yet know for sure if Shaun Hill is done for the year but it’s likely for at least this week Drew Stanton will be under center which is my reason for rating Calvin this low.

15.   Santonio Holmes @ NE

16.   Mike Wallace @ BAL- I expect a big bounce back game after last week’s three catch performance.

17.   Wes Welker vs. NYJ

18.   Pierre Garcon vs. DAL

19.   Miles Austin @ IND

20.   Hines Ward @ BAL

21.   Brandon Marshall vs. CLE- Marshall returned to practice Wednesday so there’s a shot that he plays Sunday. This ranking reflects him playing.

22.   Santana Moss @ NYG

23.   Johnny Knox @ DET

24.   Sidney Rice vs. BUF- I think this is Rice’s break out game at home against the Bills.

25.   Mike Williams vs. ATL

26.   Danario Alexander @ ARI- I can’t pin point exactly why I have him ranked this high, but I just have a feeling this week against the Cardinals he’s going to have a huge game. Got to go with my gut on this one.

27.   Davone Bess vs. CLE

28.   Ben Obomanu vs. CAR

29.   Anquan Boldin vs. PIT- Hasn’t done much the last two weeks but should have a bit of a bounce back this week.

30.   Braylon Edwards @ NE

31.   Deion Branch vs. NYJ

32.   Steve Breaston vs. STL

33.   Dez Bryant @ IND

34.   Percy Harvin vs. BUF

35.   Derrick Mason vs. PIT

36.   James Jones vs. SF

37.   Randy Moss vs. JAX- If Kerry Collins is a go, then Moss is right where he should be, if he can’t start bump Moss down about 10-12 spots.

38.   Mike Thomas @ TEN

39.   Jacoby Ford @ SEA

40.   Earl Bennett @ DET- Coming off a two touchdown performance, he should continue to get targeted heavily and seems to be really earning Cutler’s trust.

41.   Michael Crabtree @ GB

42.   Chad OchoCinco vs. NO

43.   Danny Amendola @ ARI

44.   Nate Washington vs. JAX

45.   Blair White vs. DAL

46.   Jabar Gaffney @ KC

47.   Brian Hartline vs. CLE- Bump up about 10 spots if Marshall doesn’t start.

48.   Steve Smith @ SEA

49.   Eddie Royal @ KC

50.   Mike Sims-Walker @ TEN

51.   Lance Moore @ CIN

52.   Legedu Naanee vs. OAK- Looks to be the most healthy of the receiving corp and should see Lion’s share of targets.

53.   Lee Evans @ MIN

54.   Nate Burleson vs. CHI

55.   Jason Avant vs. HOU

56.   Devin Hester @ DET

57.   Malcom Floyd vs. OAK- He’d be higher on this list if we knew how much of a role he would play and how recovered he is from the hamstring issue.

58.   Louis Murphy @ SD

59.   Seyi Arijotutu vs.OAK

60.   Jordy Nelson vs. SF

TE Rankings

1.       Jacob Tamme vs. DAL- He has been fantasy gold at this position since taking over for Dallas Clark, why stop now?

2.       Antonio Gates vs. OAK- He is considered probable at this point and should be a full go.

3.       Jason Witten @ IND- The Colts pass defense is pretty bad but they limit TE’s to the second fewest fantasy points per week but Witten is just too good and Kitna loves him.

4.       Marcedes Lewis @ TEN

5.       Dustin Keller @ NE

6.       Kellen Winslow vs. ATL

7.       Vernon Davis @ GB

8.       Brent Celek vs. HOU- Had a pretty solid game last week (3-50-1) and the Texans allow the most fantasy points to TE’s.

9.       Chris Cooley @ NYG

10.   Joel Dreessen @ PHI

11.   Greg Olsen @ DET

12.   Kevin Boss vs. WAS- Should have a good amount of targets again with Smith and Nicks still M.I.A.

13.   Tony Gonzalez @ TB

14.   Visanthe Shiancoe vs. BUF- Shiancoe has not been as big a factor as we thought coming in, but this could be a big game as the Bills allow the second most points to TE’s

15.   Todd Heap vs. PIT

16.   Brandon Pettigrew vs. CHI

17.   Aaron Hernandez vs. NYJ

18.   Zach Miller @ SD- Miller still isn’t 100% healthy but the Chargers, as good as their defense is, allows the 4th most points to the position.

19.   Tony Moeaki vs. DEN

20.   Jeremy Shockey @ CIN

21.   Rob Gronkowski vs. NYJ

22.   Jermaine Gresham vs. NO- The Saints give up about 16 fantasy points per game against the TE and with the secondary keyed in on Ocho and T.O., Gresham could find some holes.

23.   Heath Miller @ BAL

24.   John Carlson vs. CAR

25.   Anthony Fasano vs. CLE

26.   Ben Watson @ MIA

27.   Bo Scaife vs. JAX

28.   Jimmy Graham @ CIN

29.   Billy Bajema @ ARI

30.   Travis Beckum vs. WAS

31.   Andrew Quarless vs. SF

32.   Delanie Walker @ GB
