So let’s get it done!!!! Any specific questions , you’re free to email me at SteveDeAngelo@gmail.com

Disclaimer: Kickers and defenses are left out each week and we try to leave the most obvious players out.

Note: From top to bottom, the players listed below are in order of effectiveness. If they are ranked first in the start category they are the best option. If they are ranked first in the sit category they are the worst option and so on and so forth.

Don’t forget to head over to http://www.FP911Challenge.com to play the best Fantasy Football game this year. It’s an opportunity to not only win a seat at $75,000 but you can also take on Tony Cincotta, Paul Greco and Lenny Melnick. It’s time to invest in a better Fantasy Football game. Check it out now.

QB’s Start ‘Em

Phillip Rivers @ Detroit

Rivers is getting hot for fantasy owners at the perfect time, although some owners have been bounced already because of his poor play early on this season. But he’s on top of his game now with 8 TD’s and 0 Int’s in his last four games. The Chargers are still alive in the division and will playing their hearts out against Detroit in what should be a high scoring affair. Look for Rivers to finish with solid numbers, possibly going over the 300 yard mark with 2-3 TD’s.

Matt Ryan @ New Orleans

Here is another QB who struggled early on and now is putting it altogether as the season winds down. “Matty Ice” has been melting that Ice lately as he has been ON FIRE of late with 11 TD’s in his last 4 games! Ryan has been Money! And he will continue to be money in this spot, on Monday Night indoors against the Saints. This game could be played in the 30′s and Ryan will be tossing the rock all night. Expect a 300 yard game with 2-3 TD’s from Ryan as he connects with Julio, Roddy and Tony G. Also sprinkle in a little Harry Douglas in there!

Tim Tebow @ Buffalo

Of course Timmy Tebow is gonna be in here. Has this guy let you down all year? The answer is NO! So make sure to stick with him once again and be confident in your decision. Tebow should be able to find running room as well as passing lanes in this matchup against the poor Buffalo D. Get Tebow in your lineups and don’t expect anything less than 18 fantasy points with an upside of 30-35 points. I see him finishing somewhere in the middle with around 22-24 points.

Sit ‘Em

Joe Flacco vs Cleveland

Just can’t trust Flacco here, he has been inconsistent all year while the Cleveland Secondary has been consistent ranked #3 in defending QB’s. This will be a Ray Rice type of game, avoid Flacco.

Christian Ponder @ Washington

Ponder has been a littly sloppy lately failing to throw for more than 200 yards in last two outings and throwing 4 interceptions as well. This is not an easy matchup, the Skins have been pretty decent against the pass all year ranked 14th in defending QB’s. We saw what they did to Eli Manning and their passing game last week, forcing Eli into three picks with no TD’s. Also with Adrian Peterson healthy and off the injury report, look for him to be the centerpiece of the offense once again. Can’t trust Ponder right now, been to erratic.

Carson Palmer @ Kansas City

This is gonna be a tough one for Palmer going on the road in Arrowhead in a game which should have a lot of juice, since technically the Chiefs are still alive in the AFC West. The Chiefs are coming off containing the best QB in the NFL in Aaron Rodgers for 3 quarters and playing a hell of a game on defense. Their secondary is underrated and seem to be even more inspired now with Romeo Crennel now the head coach. Look for Palmer to put up decent numbers but to struggle for the most part. There is a chance he could totally fall flat on his face so you want to look for other options.

RB’s Start ‘Em

Reggie Bush @ New England

If you aren’t a believer in Reggie by now, shame on you! Maybe this will make you a believer! This dude has been straight lighting it up for the past month and a half now. He has proved a lot of the doubters wrong, by running between the tackles successfully and taking on an everydown type of role. This is by far and away the best he has played in his career. I see no reason why he can’t keep it rolling here against New England, ranked 19th in defending RB’s Even if they get down early, Reggie will play a factor in the passing game. I see Reggie going over 100 total yards in this game with 4-6 catches and a possible score.

CJ Spiller vs Denver Broncos

I have always been a fan of Spiller and I’m glad he has finally gotten a true chance to succeed. Spiller has gone over 100 total yards in two of his last three games with 2 TD’s in that span. He also has 15 catches as well in that frame. No matter what the score, Spiller can be a factor. But this game should be a slow moving, low scoring battle, with Spiller getting quite a few carries against the Denver D ranked 23rd in defending RB’s. Start him with confidence, this dude is legit.

Rashard Mendenhall vs St. Louis

Mendy has had an off year with just one 100 yard game all season. He has also hasn’t really taken advantage of good matchups. But this is one where you just have to use him against St. Louis who have been putrid against the run this year. Also Big Ben could be out, leaving it to Charlie Batch who should be handing off plenty to Mendenhall. Look for Mendy to find the endzone this week.

Willis McGahee @ Buffalo

Willis should be fine for the game against Buffalo in what sets up to be a nice matchup for him. Buffalo is 3rd worst at defending the RB positionand the Broncos will be able to pound the run throughout the game. There is some concern about Lance Ball giving Willis some rest, but there is a good chance McGahee gets near 100 yards in this game and finds the endzone.

Sit ‘Em

Peyton Hillis @ Baltimore

Hillis had a productive game last week against Arizona, but this week it’s a whole different story. If you can, you need to bench Hillis. In his last outing against Baltimore he was held under 50 yards rushing.

Steven Jackson @ Pittsburgh

See Peyton Hillis, Brutal matchup for Jackson, avoid at all costs. His offense may see the redzone once all game.

Donald Brown @ Houston

Brown had a monster game last week rushing for 161 yards and a score, but temper expectations against Houston on Thursday Night Football. Wade Phillips has this Houston D ranked 2nd best in defending the RB position. Don’t get giddy and start Brown Thursday night, look for a safer option if you have it.

Something to think about: Benching Marshawn Lynch

We all know how good Lynch has been this year, he’s been a must-start practically every week, even proving to be matchup proof against the studly Ravens D by running for over a 100 yards with a score against them. But the 49ers D is a different animal. This D hasn’t allowed a rushing TD ALL YEAR! Why would we expect Lynch to see the endzone? I agree with the Motto go with what got you there, but If I owned Marshawn and had a guy like CJ Spiller or even a Kevin Smith, I would bench Lynch. I just don’t trust anybody against that 49ers D, especially if Patrick Willis returns, which is possible.

WR’s Start ‘Em

Brandon Marshall @ New England

Ok this is fairly obvious. We know how bad New England’s secondary has been and how their offense dictates their opponents to throw early and often. Marshall will produce nicely in this game, let’s just hope he doesn’t drop any TD’s this week!

Julio Jones @ New Orleans

Jones has come alive with 3 TD’s in the last two games and looks to be fully recovered from the hamstring injury. Matt Ryan is on full go right now and he should connect with Julio in this game. Very good chance Jones finds the endzone for a third straight game, get him in your lineups.

Demaryius Thomas @ Buffalo

I’ve recommended him earlier in the season and been burnt, but Thomas is now finally showing some consistency. Tebow looks better throwing the ball and Thomas has now overtaken Decker as his favorite target. Favorable matchup here against Buffalo, Thomas makes for fairly safe play in the Super Bowl. I’m thinking 5 catches for 80 yards with a possible score.

Nate Washington vs Jacksonville

Washington has had a career year in 2011. Matt Hasselbeck finds him often and that shouldn’t change this week against Jacksonville and their secondary which has been decimated by injury. They have now lost five Corners. Look for Washington to put up very nice numbers in this matchup.

Sit ‘Em

Darrius Heyward-Bey @ Kansas City

Heyward-Bey has been great the past two weeks going for over 200 yards with a score, but the matchup gets REAL this week. Brandon Flowers is one on of the best corners in the league and will be assigned to Heyward-Bey. Also as noted above, I believe Carson Palmer struggles in this matchup. Heyward-Bey has been solid the past two weeks but I think he gets contained here and held under 50 yards, Flowers matches up with him perfectly.

Anquan Boldin vs Cleveland

Joe Haden, Cleveland Browns stout pass defense, Boldin and Joe Flacco’s inconsistencies all year, leave Boldin on the bench!

Hakeem Nicks @ New York Jets

It’s uncertain who Revis will be covering, but there is a good chance he could be on Nicks for a good portion of the game. The Jets secondary looked brutal last week, but they have been sound the whole year and I think they step up here and give Eli problems. Nicks is still a stud and needs to be considered, but if you have safer options you may want to keep Nicks benched.

TE’s Start ‘Em

Brent Celek @ Dallas

My bad for not suggesting this guy last week, that really was a golden start against the Jets who simply cannot stop the Tight End. Hopefully you got Celek in your lineups and watched him go off for 155 yards and a score. Look for more production this week against Dalllas who have their own problems covering the Tight End giving up the 4th most amount of points to the position. Celek has been on the fantasy radar for the past month and a half and you need to stick with him again this week, he will produce.

Dustin Keller vs New York Giants

I like this spot for Keller against the G-men. The Giants, like their NFC rival Dallas, have had problems covering the Tight End as well ranked 22nd in points allowed the position. Must win game for the Jets, they need to get Keller involved. Keller should have a fairly productive game with around 5-6 catches and 60-70 yards.

Anthony Fasano @ New England

Fasano has been a decent option for the past month or so and this is another matchup to consider him in. Again the Phins will be tossing the rock, Fasano has been targeted midfield and around the goaline, we saw him score last week, let’s ride him again.

Sit ‘Em

Jacob Tamme vs Houston

Looks like Dallas Clark will miss another game, but you can’t use Tamme here. This isn’t last year, keep him benched against Houston who cover the Tight End very well ranked 3rd best.

Heath Miller vs St. Louis

Miller had a nice game on Monday night against the 49ers, but I have serious doubts about him this week. It appears Charlie Batch may play and that most likely means the Steelers will be very run-heavy. Also I’m not sure Batch can get Miller the ball. Lastly, St. Louis is the best when it comes to defending the Tight End.

Brandon Pettigrew vs San Diego

Pettigrew has been better the last two weeks after slumping a bit, but I would be weary of him this week. San Diego ranks 5th best in defending the Tight End. Also, Stafford has been spreading it around to Calvin, Titus Young and Nate Burleson. At this point of the season, I don’t trust Pettigrew.

IDP Start ‘Em

James Harrison, LB Pittsburgh Steelers vs St. Louis

James Harrison, coming back from suspension is very mad right now and he’s going to take it out on the Rams. What a perfect matchup for Harrison as the Rams are allowing more sacks than any other teamKellen Clemens will draw the start for the Rams at QB and he has terrible pocket presence. He will be a sitting duck when Pittsburgh throws blitzes at him. Look for Harrison to get 2-3 sacks in this game.

Aldon Smith, LB, DE, San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle

Smith was a animal on Monday night causing havoc on Big Ben all night. Look for Smith to add to his 13 sacks on the year as he is playing with a ton of confidence right now.

Jarius Byrd, S, Buffalo Bills vs Denver

Tim Tebow comes to town and that means plenty of tackle opportunities for Byrd and the Buffalo defenders. Byrd should get 8+ tackles easy in this matchup.

Sit ‘Em

John Abraham, DE, Atlanta Falcons @ NO

Abraham had 3.5 sacks last Thursday night against Blaine Gabbert, but it won’t be so easy against Drew Brees and his quick release. Keep in mind that was Abraham’s first multi-sack game since Week 1. Look for another option.

Jabari Greer, CB, New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta

Greer is a deflection machine, but has a rough matchup against two premier wideouts in Roddy White and Julio JonesMatt Ryan has also been on top of his game. Leave Greer reserved.

Fantasy Savvy Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 15 Semifinals Edition

This season has officially flown by. I really cannot believe we are in Week 15 already. But this is the most exciting time of the year for us fantasy players. This is the playoffs and now we are in the Semifinal round, one victory away from the glorious Fantasy Superbowl.  Let’s face it, It’s time to get REAL SERIOUS!

I thank everybody again for reading and I hope you have found great value in these articles over the course of the season. If you need any additional advice and have any specific questions feel free to email me at SteveDeAngelo@gmail.com .

Disclaimer: Kickers and defenses left out each week and we try to leave the most obvious players out. Start Jordy Nelson!!!

Note: From top to bottom, the players listed below are in order of effectiveness. If they are ranked first in the start category they are the best option, if they are ranked first in the sit category they are the worst option and so on and so forth.

Matt Ryan @ Jacksonville

Mr. Ryan has been excellent of late throwing another 4 TD’s last week. Julius Jones looks to be almost completely healthy now, Roddy White has picked it up,  and Tony G is still playing like a 20 year old. This passing game has been outstanding of late. Keep Ryan going here against the severely banged up Jacksonville secondary that has lost its top 4 cornerbacks to injury.

Tim Tebow @ New England

If you haven’t seen The Year of The Quarterback on featuring Tim Tebow, you need to see it. It’s a must watch. The guy is a workout warrior. He defines work ethic. Watching this verified my belief that Tebow will do everything in his power to make himself the best QB he can possibly be. There are no shortcuts and he puts no limits on himself. He truly is an inspiring figure.

Getting back to the matchup, obviously it’s a great one for Tebow and an interesting one as well. How many times will he throw it in his game? The Pats will put up at least 24 points in this game and Tebow is going to have to throw to move the ball and when he does he should find success. Again, Tebow has no downside, the guy scores at least 18 points every week and this could be his best matchup of the year.

Andy Dalton @ St. Louis

Dalton has been on my sit list the last 3 weeks because he has had tough matchup after tough matchup. But this week it eases up against St. Louis. Dalton is battle tested after going through that rough patch. He is going to have a nice game here and is a fairly solid start if you need to turn to him. Look for close to 300 yards passing and 2-3 TD’s.

Sit ‘Em

Alex Smith vs Pittsburgh

Just steer clear if you can, terrible matchup on Monday Night Football against the Steelers. The 49ers are going to struggle to score.

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs Buffalo

Fitzy has been stinky after the hot start. Maybe it’s that wicked beard he’s been rocking? He really needs to cut that horribleness. Seriously what is he doing with that thing? Stay away.

Phillip Rivers vs Baltimore

Rivers has been hot the last few weeks but he’s had some juicy matchups vs Jacksonville and Buffalo. Those guys can’t get to the QB like Baltimore can. I see Rivers struggling in this game. He may hit Jackson or Floyd deep once or twice in this game, but the big plays will be limited. If you have better options sit Rivers against the Ravens who are allowing the LEAST amount of points to QB’s.

RB’s Start ‘Em

Roy Helu @ NYG

Make it three straight 100 yard games for Helu. This guy really has impressed me, he is talented and should be around for a while. Almost reminds me of aRay Rice/Ryan Mathews mix. No reason to think he doesn’t hit 100 yards against the Giants. If he did it against the Jets and Seattle, he can do it against the G-Men.

Beanie Wells vs Arizona

Beanie is banged up, but he’s playing through the injuries and has showed toughness this season. Good matchup here against Cleveland who are strugglingagainst the run ranked 20th in points allowed to RB’s. Beanie will see over 20 carries in this matchup and should find the endzone at least once.

Cedric Benson @ St. Louis

I have hated on Benson since the start of the year, but he has been pretty helpful to fantasy owners. Gotta start him here against St. Louis, we all know how bad they are vs the run. Dalton is also going to be moving the ball through the air leaving scoring opportunities for Cedric. A two TD game is possible.

Sit ‘Em

Rashard Mendenhall @ San Fran

No.1 Run D in all thee land. NO RUSHING TD’s ALLOWED ALL YEAR! Don’t even think about starting Mendy.

Ryan Mathews  vs Baltimore

Tough to sit Mathews since he’s been so good lately, but this is a matchup where you have to think about it. PPR I say go with him, if not make sure he’s on your bench.

Frank Gore vs Pittsburgh

Coach Harbaugh admitted Gore is not really healthy right now and he’s partly to blame. He overworked Gore when he had the talents of Kendall Hunter on his bench.  The 49ers really want to win this game since they are still battling for the first-round bye. They may still pound Gore, but this is a rough matchup against Pittsburgh even with Polamalu and Harrison both out. Harbaugh may end up using Hunter a bit more in this game as well.

WR’s Start ‘Em

AJ Green @ St. Louis

Normally I would not put a player of Green’s caliber in this article, but I think you may need to be reminded of how good this guy is. Green currently has 891 yards receiving and 7 TD’s this season. I think he reaches 1,000 yards and adds another TD after this game. This is just a great matchup here, you have to go with Green. If it comes down to Vincent Jackson against Baltimore or Green this week, I’m going with AJ.

Nate Washington @ Indianapolis

After being questionable all of last week, Washington played against the Saints and had two TD’s. If rookie Jake Locker draws the start again this week which is likely, look for him to find his favorite target against the Colts D allowing the 7th most points to fantasy wideouts.  Even if Hasselbeck starts, Washington still is a solid play.

Santana Moss @ New York Giants

Santana did not catch his TD from Rex Grossman last week, it came on a reverse pass from Brandon Banks. But him and Rexy still have shown good rapport dating back to last year and it should show again in the Meadowlands. The Giants secondary has been torched of late and they are ranked 30thwhen it comes to defending the WR position. I can see Santana having a nice game here. I’m thinking 5-6 catches with 100 yards.

Sit ‘Em

DeSean Jackson vs New York Jets

Jackson stepped up last week with 59 yards and a score but the Jets should contain him. Revis will most likely be covering him and if not I think Cromartieor Kyle Wilson can handle him. Jets have been stout against the pass ranked 3rd best in points allowed to WR’s.

Michael Crabtree vs Pittsburgh

Alex Smith is going to have a hard time finding his wideouts this week, so that means be weary of Crabtree. Ike Taylor is a legit corner and should contain Crabtree. Look for other options.

Steve Smith (Carolina) @ Houston

Smith has slowed down the stretch here, although he did have a 100 yard game last week. But this matchup is tough against one of the best secondaries in the league. Texans star CB Jonathan Joseph will be matched up with Smith and I think he contains Stevie. Don’t expect much from Smith, he might be held under 50 yards.

TE’s Start ‘Em

Tony Gonzalez vs Jacksonville

Just a reminder if you are thinking about sitting Tony G this week. Jacksonville is allowing the 31st most point to Tight Ends. The savvy veteran could be in line for a monster game.

Owen Daniels vs Carolina

With Andre Johnson likely out another week, look for TJ Yates to connect with Daniels again this week after Daniels went off for 100 yards last Sunday. Daniels is Yates best receiving option right now.

Anthony Fasano @ Buffalo

The Jersey Boy has been better down the stretch with three 50 yard games in his last five outings. Buffalo is allowing the 23rd most points to Tight Endsand I think Fasano stays involved regardless if Matt Moore plays or not. Not a bad play if you are desperate at the Tight End position this week.

Sit ‘Em

Heath Miller @ San Fran

Miller has been very quiet of late after a mid-season hot streak.  He needs to be benched in this matchup. The 49ers are letting up a lot of points to wideouts, but have been stingy to Tight Ends allowing the 6th fewest points to TE’sBig Ben will be looking downfield to Antonio Brown and Mike Wallace in this matchup.

Jermaine Gresham @ St. Louis

For whatever reason the the Rams can defend the Tight End, ranked No.1 in that department. Avoid Gresham.

Greg Olsen @ Houston

Olsen has failed to go over 50 yards in four out of his last five games and only has one TD in that span. Houston has allowed the 3rd least amount of points to Tight Ends, so Olsen is not due for a rebound game here.

IDP’s Start ‘Em

James Anderson, LB, Carolina Panthers @ Houston

Carolina can’t stop the run and that is what Houston will be doing plenty of this week, running the football. The Texans are running it even more now thatSchaub and Johnson are both out. Anderson will have plenty of opportunities to add to his tackle total.

Brandon Browner, CB, Seattle Seahawks @ Chicago

Browner has been red-hot of lately picking off four passes in his last three games and he could snatch another against the inept Caleb Hanie. The Bears will also be running a lot so Browner should have a nice amount of tackles. The Bears are giving up the 30th most points to Cornerbacks.

Curtis Lofton, LB, Atlanta Falcons vs Jacksonville

A lot of carries from MJD means a lot of tackle chances for Lofton.

Sit ‘Em

Brandon Flowers, CB, Kansas City Chiefs vs Green Bay

Rodgers does not have to challenge Flowers, he can spread the ball around to any one of his options. Plus even when Rodgers does challenge Flowers the ball most likely will be right on the money to his target. Flowers deflection, interception, and tackle opportunities will be limited this week.

Joe Haden, CB, Cleveland Browns @ Arizona

Not sure how I feel about Haden matching up with Larry Fitzgerald here. Skelton or Kolb whoever plays will be challenging Haden for sure, I’m just not sure if he can handle Fitzgerald. AJ Green fared pretty well vs him a few weeks ago. I would look for other options.

Fantasy Savvy Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 14 Playoff Edition

We are finally here, Week 14, The Playoffs! Playoffs? Yes the Playoffs! And if you are reading this most likely you have made it this far. Congratulations. The playoffs have already started in a couple of leagues that I am in, but for the majority of owners crunch time begins now. By now your rosters should pretty much be set and you should have a good feel for your team. But there will always be that one or two decisions each week that can make ya or break ya. So this week we go a little further. Each player, from top to bottom will be ranked in order of their effectiveness or ineffectiveness depending on which category they are in. Again, if you have any specific questions you can email me directly at SteveDeAngelo@gmail.com.

QB’s Start Em

Matthew Stafford vs Minnesota

Stafford shed the splint and took off the gloves last week and finished with a fairly solid game at New Orleans throwing for 400 yards with one TD. This week it gets even better vs Minnesota and their Swiss cheese defense which is giving up the most amount of points QB’s. Stafford is an excellent start this week, at home, in a game where Detroit needs to win.

Phillip Rivers vs Buffalo

With Malcolm Floyd returning on Monday night, Rivers tore up the Jaguars by throwing for just under 300 yards with 3 TD’s. Floyd give Rivers another deep threat and opens things up for Gates, Jackson and Matthews. With his full arsenal healthy, look for Rivers to keep it going at home in a must win game against Buffalo.

Matt Ryan @ Carolina

Ryan had started to heat up of late, but hit a bit of rough patch last week against a solid Houston secondary. But this week I think he picks it back up again at Carolina in what should be a fairly high scoring game. Michael Turner will be getting a lot of carries in this game as he matches up with the porous Carolina run D, but that means Atlanta will be moving the chains and Ryan will see plenty of scoring chances. Look for Ryan to finish with around 250 yards passing with 2-3 TD’s.

Sleeper/Desperation Play- Rex Grossman @ New England, Carson Palmer @ GB

Both these guys are facing teams that will dictate their offense to throw early and often. Also the Patriots and Green Bay both have been giving up a lot of yards through the air all year. It’s playoff time and it’s hard to trust these guys, but if you have to rock with them, then go for it. I give Palmer the slight edge over Grossman.

Sit ‘Em

Mark Sanchez @ Kansas City

Have to avoid Sanchez in this matchup if you can. This will most likely be another ground it out, defensive, low scoring battle. The Jets will be looking to pound the rock once again with Shonn Greene and win it with defense. When Sanchez is throwing he will have a tough time vs an improved Kansas City pass D giving up the 6th least amount of points to QB’s.

Andy Dalton vs Houston

Dalton hasn’t thrown for more than one TD in his last three games. Granted they were all tough matchups against Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Baltimore, but the matchup is tough once again against Houston allowing the 4th fewest amount of points to QB’s. Don’t sit AJ Green, that guy is matchup proof, but Dalton’s most likely needs to be on your bench.

Ben Roethlisberger vs Cleveland

Playoffs have started, you own Big Ben, he’s playing tonight and your are itching to get a player in your fantasy lineup! I feel you, I’ve been there before and made some stupid starts just because I wasn’t patient and wanted to see my player perform right away. But If you have better options, you need to sit Ben this week. Cleveland’s secondary is for real, they have been all year and teams attack them on the ground. The Steelers will control this game, so you will see a heavy dose of Rashard Mendenhall and Issac Redman. Ben will probably have a subpar game, so keep him reserved.

Possible Benching- Tim Tebow @ Chicago

I’m a Tebow fan, I love this dude and I have defended him all year, but this might be a spot you want to sit him. The Bears have the defensive speed with Urlacher, Briggs, and Peppers to contain Tebow’s running and slow down the Broncos run game. Tebow really hasn’t had a bad game all year scoring 18 points or more every week, but this could possibly be his worse game of the year. If you have stronger options, consider benching Tebow this week and if you advance get ready to start him next week against New England.

RB’s Start ‘Em

Rashard Mendenhall vs Cleveland

After a slow start, Mendenhall comes into Thursday night’s game with 5 TD’s in his last three games. The Steelers will be giving him the rock early and often in this one and Mendenhall should find the endzone at least once if not a couple of times. Cleveland has been struggling against the run giving up the 24th most points to the RB position so get Mendy in your lineups tonight.

Michael Turner @ Atlanta Falcons

Turner usually always produces when the matchup is right, so this week should be no different against Carolina. Last week vs the Panthers, Legarrette Blount put up an absolute stinker, but that was mostly because the Bucs were forced to throw early. The Falcons will be in this game and Turner will have his chances to score and will reach the 100 yard mark. Get him in your lineups.

Marshawn Lynch vs St. Louis

Lynch has been in absolute beast mode the past seven weeks as he has four 100 yard games and is averaging a TD per game. On Monday night, Lynch has a perfect matchup against the Rams who have been giving up chunks of yardage to RB’s all year. The Rams will be focused on Marshawn, but that doesn’t mean they can stop him, Lynch has been running through guys with ease. He should come close to 100 yards and find paydirt at least once.

PPR Specials- Ryan Matthews vs Buffalo, Reggie Bush vs Philly and CJ Spiller @ SD

All three of these guys will have solid games this week. Bush didn’t catch any passes last week, but still had 100 yards and TD, he has been great of late and is a must-start. Spiller had an impressive game finishing wth 83 yards on the ground on just 14 carries. He ended up with one TD and could of had another on a 41 yard run, but it was called back due to a holding penalty. Get Spiller in your lineups. Ryan Matthews also enjoyed a nice game against Jacksonville rushing for 112 yards on just 13 carries with a TD. He now has back to back 100 yard rushing games. He will go up against a Buffalo defense that is allowing the 4th most points to RB’s. I would rank them Matthews, Bush, Spiller, but it’s close between the three and all should be in your lineups if possible.

Sit ‘Em

Jonathan Stewart/DeAngelo Williams vs Atlanta

Williams was supposed to be a nice play last week going against the Bucs, but he was terrible, proving you can never trust this guy. Stewart has been a little more reliable and actually had a good game last week, but he needs to be benched this week as well. Atlanta has been stout against the run, allowing the 6th fewest points to RB’s.

Beanie Wells vs San Francisco

49ers Stud MLB Patrick Willis could miss this game, but you still need to bench Beanie. The 49ers D hasn’t allowed a TD all season and are No.1 against the run. Beanie has been good, but he needs to benched here.

Cedric Benson vs Houston

Benson will get the carries, but don’t expect much yardage. He did fare well in a tough matchup against Baltimore with 2 TD’s, but that was kind of a fluky performance. If you have better options, sit Benson against Houston who is allowing the 2nd fewest amount of points to RB’s.

WR’s Start ‘Em

Santana Moss @ New England

Fred Davis just got suspended for the remainder of the year for smoking the chronic, so Moss instantly becomes the No.1 target on the Skins. This really is an ideal matchup for Moss. Him and Rexy have showed rapport in the past and he should find Moss open against the Pats struggling secondary. Moss still has good speed, runs good routes and knows how to find the open areas in zone defenses. He’s a nice little start this week as the Skins will be throwing the football a ton. Moss had 13 targets last week.

Damien Williams @ New Orleans

Williams has been the most targeted wideout on the Titans of late and for good reason. The Titans will be forced to throw and Williams should benefit. The Saints have been allowing the 2nd most points to WR’s just in front of New England.

Mike Williams, TB @ Jacksonville

Williams has been rock solid of late with three straight games over 80 yards and 2 TD’s in his last three. As we saw on Monday night, the Jaguars secondary has been decimated by injuries losing their top three corners to injury. Josh Freeman has been bad, but he is finding his favorite target, so expect Williams to produce.

Sit ‘Em

DeSean Jackson @ Miami

After watching Jackson drop two TD’s against the Patriots, get benched in the 4th quarter of that game and then follow it up with his sideline pouting and blank stare on the sidelines against Seattle last Thursday night, I can’t trust this guy. His head is just not on the game right now and it’s really hard to give him a chance at this point. Stay away.

Dwayne Bowe vs New York Jets

Revis Island time. Steer clear.

Pierre Garcon @ Baltimore

Colts QB Dan “The Polish Plumber” Orlovsky came in and revived Garcon last week as Pierre went off for two TD’s, but Garcon can’t be started against Baltimore.

TE’s Start ‘Em

Kellen Winslow @ Jacksonville

Beautiful spot for Winslow owners to use him here. Jacksonville is giving up the 2nd most points to Tight Ends, get Winslow in there.

Brent Celek @ Miami

Before Vick’s injury he was hitting Celek consistently. Even Vince Young was getting the ball to Celek. Brent had five straight games over 50 yards before last week, so he should get back on track this week against Miami who are allowing the 10th most points to Tight Ends.

Anthony Fasano vs Philly

Tony Sporano is getting all his playmakers involved during Miami’s resurgence and Fasano has been apart of that plan. His numbers have been mediocre overall, but Fasano has started to come alive some with two 60 yard outings in his last four games. If you were a Fred Davis owner and need a tight end this week, he’s not a bad option.

Sit ‘Em

Brandon Pettigrew @ Minnesota

This appears to be a good matchup on paper, but Pettigrew has been brutal of late with six straight games of being held under 40 yards with just one TD in those six games. Last week, the frustration seemed to be getting to Pettigrew as he drew a stupid unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and also had two terrible drops. Avoid.

Owen Daniels @ Cincy

Daniels has also been ice cold of late as he hasn’t found the endzone in his last eight games and hasn’t gone over 40 yards in his last four. The offense is focused on running more than ever now with TJ Yates under the helm and when they do throw, Yates likes to get it down the field.

Jermaine Gresham vs Houston

Dalton will be slowed, Benson will be slowed and so will Gresham. Houston is 3rd best at defending the Tight End.

IDP’s Start ‘Em

Chris Clemons, DE, Seattle Seahawks vs St. Louis Rams

Rams giving up the most sacks in the league, 3rd String QB Tom Brandstater possibly playing in this game, Clemons is a very solid start this week as he looks to add on to his eight sacks this year.

Earl Thomas, S vs St. Louis Rams

Thomas should enjoy a nice game, not only will he rack up the tackles from the Rams run heavy approach, he could end up with a interception with how bad the Rams QB play has been.

Lance Briggs vs Denver

Urlacher is a must-start this week, but Lance Briggs also warrants a start here. Briggs will rack up the tackles against the run-heavy Broncos.

Sit ‘Em

DeAngelo Hall, CB, Washington Redskins @ New England

No interceptions or pass deflections for Hall this week. Tom Brady will be on his “A” game, per the usual.

Kameron Wimbley @ Green Bay

Don’t like this matchup for the talented Wimbley. Aaron Rodgers will be ridding of that ball throwing lasers all over the field. Wimbley’s sack chances will be limited.

Best Waiver Adds-Playoff Week

Last time to make pickups in most leagues, unless your league allows you to extend into the playoffs. Nonetheless, this will be the final addition of Best Waiver adds from Fantasy Savvy in the 2011 season. The names this week aren’t anything impressive, but there are some names that could be of some assistance. The players are ranked in the order of effectiveness they will have the rest of the year.

Marion Barber, RB, Chicago Bears

Anytime you can snatch a starting RB at this point you have to grab it. As most of us should know, Matt Forte will be held out for the next 2-4 weeks which should complete the rest of the fantasy season. Barber will now take over as the main back. You can’t expect much from Barber but 50-70 total yards per game with 2-4 catches and occasional TD are likely. Barber makes for RB3/Flex for the playoff weeks as he goes up against Denver, Seattle and GB in the next 3 weeks.

Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver Broncos

We talked about Thomas earlier in the year. We know the story with this guy, big, physical and very talented. It took Tebow 6 weeks to finally find and connect with this guy for a whole game as Thomas finished with 4 catches for 144 yards and two TD’s. Take notice though, it was against the Vikings who have the worst secondary statistically in the league. But I still think Thomas offers some upside for the rest of this season and most definitely in a keeper league. Thomas has Chicago this week, but then New England in Week 15 and Buffalo in Week 16 which are excellent matchups. Tebow also looked as accurate as he has all season on Sunday. If you need WR help going into the playoffs, pick up Thomas and look to possibly play him this week if not in Week 15 against New England.

Malcolm Floyd, WR, San Diego Chargers

When this guy plays he performs, but he’s hard to trust week to week because he usually leaves the game early and is then out for multiple weeks. But Floyd returned last week and had 4 catches for 108 yards and a TD. It’s worth noting that Floyd has three 100 yard games in just 8 games played. The potential is there, but the risk is there to due to injury. He’s worth a shot if you need the help and has a good matchup against Buffalo this week. Week 15 isn’t kind against Baltimore however, but Week 16 against the Lions is favorable.

Bradon Saine, RB, Green Bay Packers

Watching this game last week, I kept asking myself who is this guy and why is he in the game. It turned out James Starks re-aggravated his ankle injury and now it looks like Starks might miss week 14. Saine didn’t do too much with just 45 total yards, but he did have four receptions. He is a decent flex play in deeper leagues if Starks is indeed out in Week 14, but remember even if Starks is out, the Packers love to pass and use their backs sparingly. However should the Packers lose in the next week or two, they could start to rest all of their starters and possibly start running the football more which means Saine could have even more value come week15 or 16. He’s worth a look in 12-16 team leagues.

Vision Adds- Kendall Hunter, Issac Redman, Benard Scott, Dion Lewis, Jason Snelling, Felix Jones, Joe Mcknight

If you have the roster space , then you should look into adding some of these guys if they are available, starting with Hunter and Redman. The 49ers specifically could start to rest Frank Gore once they have nothing more to play for in the regular season. Jim Harbaugh would be smart to anyway as Gore is taking an unnecessary large amount of snaps. Hunter has run well when provided the chance. Anyone of these guys could step in and produce nicely if coaches decide to rest the starter or there is an injury, so look into these guys and see if they are available.

Make sure to check out our Radio Show tonight 12/6 at 11est at Blogtalkradio.com/Fantasysavvy and check back later in the week for our Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em’s and Rankings.

Fantasy Savvy Player Rankings Week 13

With one week before the playoffs, I had to get these rankings out to you. We know you need them, so I am are here to deliver. It should be noted that these rankings aren’t your typical sissy rankings. Sometimes certain guys just need to be ranked higher or lower based on what has been happening of late or because of a certain matchup. I see a lot of these rankings that are just so robotic based on a players past history and name recognition. If the guy hasn’t been doing it all year or has a certain matchup then he needs to be dropped in the rankings, on the other hand if you have a guy who has been hot in recent weeks and has a nice matchup, he deserves to be moved up. In other words, a lot of these other sites have NO BALLS, they take the “Safe” route, because most of them are real life dorks anyway. I try to do the best I can with this. Fantasy Savvy Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Week 13

As the Fantasy regular season gets ready to close, I want to thank everyone who has followed this column each week. I hope my information and insight has helped your Fantasy squads perform at a higher level.

Onto Week 13, an extremely important week whether you are trying to get into the playoffs or are already in the playoffs and just trying to improve your seeding.

Disclaimer: Defenses and Kickers are left out each week, we trust you can handle that on your own. Also try to leave the obvious choices out, Start Victor Cruz!!!

Vince Young @ Seattle

Vince Young threw for 400 yards and a TD last week against the Patriots in what proved to be a very fine fantasy performance. Some argue, it was “garbage time” stats and yes the part of that is true. However, people seem to forget that DeSean Jackson dropped two TD’s, one which was about a 60 yard pass. Add those two TD’s and that is a MONSTER fantasy performance. Vince also added 40 rushing yards, despite the fact he is now staying in the pocket more than ever and only really running when he has to. He is getting it done, he is showing good pocket presence, making good reads and looking accurate on deep balls. So stick with Vince once again as I make it the 3rd consecutive week of recommending him.

Tim Tebow @ Minnesota

Tebow is getting it done each week, averaging around 18 fantasy points per game. The running stats will always be there, but he is starting to throw a bit better each week. This week Tebow matches up against the Vikings who have the WORST pass D in the NFL. Look for Tebow to get the usual running stats, but find Eric Decker, Eddie Royal and Demaryius Thomas more often on Sunday. Trust Tebow, he hasn’t let his owners down yet.

Matt Stafford @ New Orleans

Stafford didn’t look all that great on Thanksgiving and some are concerned about this finger injury. However reports are he shed the splint and the gloves he has been wearing since the injury. Look for Stafford to get it going against New Orleans as he will be slinging the ball left and right in order to keep up Drew Brees. He is going to finish with at least 2 TD’s in his matchup with close to 300 yards passing.

Sit ‘Em

Joe Flacco @ Cleveland

Can’t trust Flacco here. He’s been underwhelming all year and now goes against the best pass defense in the NFL.

Andy Dalton @ Pittsburgh

Dalton, very talented Rookie, but not a very good matchup here. Yards could be there, but TD’s will be limited, may only end up throwing one in this game. Look for other options.

Matt Ryan @ Houston

After a faulty start to the year, Ryan has officially turned it around with two 300 performances and 9 TD’s in his last four games. But this is a tough matchup for Ryan against the much improved Texans defense which ranks 2nd against the pass. Don’t expect a big game from Ryan this Sunday.

RB’s Start ‘Em

LeGarrette Blount vs Carolina

We all know how bad Carolina’s run D is, WORST IN THE LEAGUE! Blount is pretty much a must-start in this game.

Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis vs Indianapolis

You never really know what Bill Belichick is going to do with his running backs from week to week, but I think Green-Ellis will get enough burn here to be effective. New England will have plenty of scoring possessions early and that means the Lawfirm will be getting goal line opportunities. He may eventually make way to Steven Ridley, Shane Vareen or Danny Woodhead in the 2nd half, but Ben-Jarvus should finish with enough overall fantasy points to be worthy of the start.

Reggie Bush @ Oakland

Props to Bush for silencing some of the haters. He has started to hit the hole, run hard and has proved to be durable throughout the season. He has been pretty steady the last 4 weeks and I wouldn’t expect it to be any different this week against Oakland who has been struggling against the run all year giving up the 27th most points to opposing Running Backs.

Sit ‘Em

Steven Jackson @ San Francisco

49ers D, No.1 Rush D in the league, no TD’s allowed all year! Forget about Jackson this week, he will produce little.

Peyton Hillis vs Cleveland

The Madden curse has been in full affect this year and even though Hillis returned last week he still only averaged 3.4 YPC on 19 carries. He will fare worse this week against the stifling Baltimore D. Stay away.

Michael Turner @ Houston

Turner never has fared well against good defenses and he will face one this week in Houston, allowing the 3rd fewest points to opposing RB’s. Also expect this Houston D to step up even more, since their QB situation is so dire.

WR’s Start ‘Em

Riley Cooper/Jason Avant @ Seattle

Chances are one of these guys has a nice game. Two weeks ago it was Cooper, last week it was Avant who had over 100 yards. Cooper still had a decent game as well with 71 yards receiving. I would give Riley the slight edge, just because I think he has a little more rapport with Young, but with Maclin out again, both could be effective.

Eric Decker @ Minnesota

Decker is easily Tebow’s favorite and best target right now. He also deserves some credit for finishing these games late as he keeps catching big TD’s. Look for Decker to add more in the yards department against this Minnesota secondary and possibly find the endzone once again.

Reggie Wayne @ New England

This just has been a rough season for Reggie Wayne and the Colts. Peyton Manning’s injury has ruined both of their seasons. But at least last week, coming off his bye, Wayne showed some life going over 100 yards and catching a TD. Dan Orlovsky takes over for Curtis Painter this week, but he can’t be any worse than Painter, can he? The matchup is sound enough to use Wayne in this spot. The Colts will be passing all game, so Wayne should at least put up serviceable numbers with a chance to go over 100 yards again against this poor New England secondary.

Sit ‘Em

Anquan Boldin @ Cleveland

I’ve been picking against WR’s who match up with Joe Haden and the Cleveland secondary all year. AJ Green fared well by going over 100 yards, but that kid is a very special talent while Boldin isn’t the player he used to be. Avoid Boldin this week in a harsh matchup.

Santana Moss vs New York Jets

Stevie Johnson surprised all of us with this performance against Darelle Revis last week and it actually burnt me in one of my leagues. But it’s very hard to suggest starting somebody when they face the Jets secondary led by Revis. If Moss starts to get hot, the Jets will just put him on the island and it will most likely be all over from there. I don’t think you can be confident in Moss against the Jets.

Julio Jones @ Houston

Jones returned from his hammy injury last week, but didn’t have a catch. No denying Jones talent and ability to have a strong game out of the blue, but I think you need to sit him against this strong Houston secondary allowing the 5th fewest points to fantasy wideouts.

TE’s Start ‘Em

Fred Davis vs New York Jets

If your a Jets fan like me you know they can’t cover Tight Ends. Davis has been Washington’s main go to guy pretty much all year, look for Davis to have a solid game as he exposes the Jets Safeties in coverage.

Brent Celek @ Seattle

Celek now has five straight games with over 50 yards receiving and in four of those games he has five catches or more making him a very solid start in PPR leagues. Seattle is 5th worst at defending the Tight End, so gotta roll with Celek again.

Dustin Keller @ Washington

Can Mark Sanchez have another late season revival like we have seen the last two years? Well, regardless he’s going to try and Dustin Keller will be his safety net. Last week Keller had 60 yards and 2 TD’s on 4 catches and Keller has been serviceable with four 50 yard performances in his last six games. When the Jets play well Keller is usually involved. Give Keller a shot, I think he does well down the stretch here.

Sit ‘Em

Owen Daniels vs Atlanta

Daniels has been disappointing all year and now it gets even worse with Schaub and Leinart both out for the season. At least Leinart would throw underneath a bunch, while the new starter TJ Yates likes to go downfield a bit more. Plus they will probably run the ball more than ever now. Keep Daniels on your bench.

Vernon Davis vs St. Louis

Davis was held in check last week against Baltimore with just 4 catches for 38 yards. This week an even tougher matchup on paper against the No. 1 defense in defending the Tight End. Keep Davis reserved.

IDP’s Start ‘Em

Kyle Arrington, CB, New England Patriots vs Indianapolis

Arrington has had a pretty solid year fantasy wise with 12 pass deflections and 7 Int’s. Those deflections and Int’s could increase this week against the Colts new starter Dan Orlovsky. Who knows how Dan the Man will perform, but it probably won’t be pretty. Good spot to go with Arrington here.

Chad Greenway, LB, Minnesota Vikings

Here come the Denver Broncos and their run heavy offense. Greenway will have plenty of chances to rack up tackles which makes him a safe start.

Aldon Smith, DE, San Francisco 49ers vs St. Louis

Smith has had a pretty solid year so far with 8 sacks. He should add onto that total against Sam Bradford and his offensive line who have allowed the most sacks in the league. This should be a dominating performance by the 49ers and Smith.

Sit ‘Em

Jabrari Greer, CB, New Orleans Saints vs Detroit

Never like starting a corner who will be matched up against Calvin Johnson. Greer has been on of the best in the pass deflection category ranked 2nd overall, but don’t like the matchup this week.

Kyle Vanden Bosch, DE, Detroit Lions @ New Orleans

Drew Brees will be slinging a ton, but Vanden Bosch chances of getting sacks will be limited. The Saints are allowing the sixth fewest sacks so far this season and a big part of that is Drew Brees getting the ball out quick enough and getting out of the pocket to make plays.

Fantasy Savvy Start Em’ Sit Em’ Week 11

Fantasy Playoffs are nearing and depending on the type of league you’re in they could start next week, in two weeks or like in most leagues in Week 14 which is just three weeks away. We hope you have continued to follow this article each week and have come away successful as a result. I strive to provide as much value as I can for our readers. If you ever want to contact me directly email me at SteveDeAngelo@gmail.com if you want to me elaborate further on a particular player or situation.

Disclaimer: Kickers and Defenses are left out each week and I try to leave the obvious choices out, Start DeMarco Murray!!

QB’s Start Em’

Vince Young, Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants

Michael Vick will probably do everything in his power to play Sunday, but just in case Vince Young starts, I am suggesting you stick him in your lineups. He should be added if you are a Matt Schaub, Matt Cassel, Michael Vick owner or if you are just having QB trouble in general. Young has been waiting for his chance to show his talents again and it could come this Sunday in the Meadowlands where has has seen success before. Who remembers this game? That was Young’s rookie season in 2006 when he led the Titans back from 21-0 to beat the Giants. If you listen to the Naysayers many have given up on Young, despite the fact he has only been progressing as a QB. In his last 18 starts he has 20 TD’s to just 10 Int’s. The reason he is a backup isn’t because of his poor play, but because of his poor attitude. Him and Jeff Fisher just needed to be separated and Vince just had worn out his welcome in a Titans uniform. Vince knows this could be his only start of the year, this is his chance to showcase for teams to become a starter next year. I think Vince fares well, look for around 250 yards throwing, with 2 TD’s passing and around 30-40 rushing yards, making him a fairly solid start.

Tyler Palko, Kansas City Chiefs @ New England

Tyler Palko? Some of you might be laughing and I don’t blame you, but you could do worse this week. First New England as we know has been brutal against the pass all season, and second the Chiefs will be forced to pass in this game to keep up with New England. I also like Palko a bit, he can move around, make plays with his feet and in the end of that Bronco game last Sunday he looked pretty accurate. Dare I say it, that I saw a little bit of Steve Young in the young Palko? I’m serious!!! Haaa. Ok, let me calm down. But the point is, Palko will put up numbers in this game. I would expect around 250 yards passing with at least 2 TD’s. He also might run for another 20-30. I am going with my gut a bit on him and Vince Young, but I feel confident in both this week. Like Vince, give Palko a shot in Week 11.

Carson Palmer, Oakland Raiders @ Minnesota

Carson Palmer has a terrific matchup in Week 11

After Palmer’s first game many believed the trade the Raiders made for him was moronic. It may still prove to be the wrong move giving up a 1st and 2 round pick, but what were the Raiders supposed to do? Play the rest of the season with Kyle Boller? I can see where they were coming from and last week Palmer made the Raiders Front Office look good by throwing for 299 yards and two TD’s leading them to victory over the Chargers in San Diego. Palmer will continue to toss interceptions, but he will also continue to throw TD’s as he has 5 of them in his last two starts. This is a great matchup for Palmer as he heads to Minnesota who are allowing the 2nd most amount of points to Fantasy QB’s. Look for Palmer to finish with close to 300-yards passing once again while tossing at least two TD’s.

Sit Em’

John Skelton, Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco

Skelton had a great Fantasy performance last week throwing for three TD’s and 300-yards against the disappointing Eagles, but don’t think you can trust him. The 49ers are going to stifle this offense, yes the 49ers secondary hasn’t been great allowing the 20th most points to Fantasy QB’s, but Skelton is not going to do much in this game. I say around 220-yards and 1 TD tops. I expect the Cards to be held under 14 points in his matchup.

Andy Dalton, Cincinatti Bengals @ Baltimore

I love the way Dalton has been playing this season. He has been very impressive as a rookie QB. But he needs to be avoided this week. AJ Green is banged up and might not play and the Ravens are allowing the 11th fewest points to Fantasy QB’s.

Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos vs New York Jets

I am a Tim Tebow fan, I am a defender and a believer of Tebow. I do feel he can be a competent QB in this league, I believe Tebow will give it everything he has to become a successful passer and I believe he will succeed, in the meantime his rushing skills will help him to get by. They are already helping him to get by, he is 3-1 as the starter this year and is the only QB to run for 100-yards this season. But I think he needs to be avoided on Thursday Night. I expect him to attempt more than two passes!, but he will be facing a Jets secondary that has been excellent against the pass all year. Tebow probably will rush for around 60 yards in this game, and may run one in, but I don’t think he throws a TD and is held under 100-yards passing. I like Tebow for the stretch run, just not this week.

RB’s Start Em’

Reggie Bush, Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo

That’s three solid games in a row for Bush who has three TD’s in his last three games. The Dolphins finally have smartened up and started to give the ball to Bush more often. It shouldn’t stop this week against Buffalo who has been brutal against RB’s ranked 25th in points allowed. Bush has always had the talent, injuries and lack of opportunity have held him back, but right now Bush is healthy and is getting the chance to shine. There is no reason to think he won’t continue to produce as long as he continues to get the rock and avoids the injury bug.

Kendall Hunter, San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona

Hunter is one of the best backups RB’s in football and I believe his role will continue to expand in this offense as the season moves on. Frank Gore has been the focal point of this offense and I believe it’s starting to wear on him as injuries have started to mount up. Gore didn’t practice on Wednesday and is questionable for Sunday. Even if he does play, Hunter is going to get a good amount of work in this game. I do expect Gore to miss a game or two down the stretch here, but even if he doesn’t, I believe you’re going to see Hunter start getting a bigger workload in order to keep Gore fresher. Look for that to start this week against Arizona in what is a great matchup for Hunter. Kendall could get into the endzone multiple times in this game or go over 100 total yards. If he is available in your league he is a must-add and a very good start this Sunday.

Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis

I have to give credit where credit is due and it goes to Marshawn Lynch who has proven me and a lot of other people wrong this season. Lynch has been running very well and it’s not just versus Swiss cheese defenses, he tore up the Ravens for 109 yards last week and a score. Can you believe Lynch has five-straight games with a TD. Lynch has been very impressive. There is no reason to believe he can’t do it again this week against St. Louis who has had trouble stopping the run all season. Stick Lynch in that lineup once again.

Sit Em’

Beanie Wells, Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco

Wells was on his way to a very nice season, but injuries have slowed him. This week he runs into a complete roadblock against Patrick Willis and the 49ers #1 Rush Defense. Completely avoid Wells this week, he probably will be held under 50 yards rushing.

Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans @ Atlanta

I’ve been hitting it on the head all year with Johnson, knowing exactly when to sit and start him. Last week I said you have to give him a shot against Carolina’s weak Run D and he exploited it. But the challenge is much greater this week against Atlanta who is ranked 6th in points allowed to Fantasy RB’s. I think Johnson is held in check this week, avoid him.

LeGarrette Blount, Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Green Bay

Blount has done next to nothing since his return from injury and needs to be avoided in this matchup. Green Bay is going to blow Tampa away leaving little chance for Blount to contribute.

WR’s Start Em’

Damien Williams, Tennessee Titans @ Atlanta

Williams has been the best wideout on the Titans the last couple weeks as him and Matt Hasselback have built a nice rapport. Williams has now scored in his last four games and has a good chance to find the endzone again this week in Atlanta. Williams has good speed, makes tough catches and Hasselback trusts him. I believe Williams could end up being a pretty valuable wideout for the rest of the year.

Vincent Brown, San Diego Chargers @ Chicago

We’ve seen this before in San Diego, wideouts coming out of nowhere to produce. Whether it’s Legedu Nanee, Siry Arijitututututut, or Malcolm Floyd, San Diego and Phillip Rivers have a history of making these no name receivers relevant. But Brown is talented, showing off his talents last Thursday night with some very athletic catches. He finished the game with 97 yards and a TD. It looks like Malcolm Floyd will be out once again, leaving Brown as the second wideout. The Bears haven’t been great against wideouts ranked 20th, so Brown makes for a fairly decent start in this matchup. Rivers will be throwing the rock and with with Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates gathering a lot of attention, Rivers should find Brown open.

Brandon Lloyd, St. Louis Rams vs Seattle

I doubted Lloyd last week in what was a very tough matchup against a stout Cleveland secondary, but Lloyd came through by finding the endzone. It looks like Lloyd is going to be matchup proof for the rest of the year. Bradford is going to continue to target him consistently and Lloyd will respond. Get him in your lineups this week against Seattle.

Denarius Moore, Oakland Raiders @ Minnesota

Bonus start here, Moore’s burners will be in full effect on that Minnesota turf, should have another nice game, Love this dude, have all year, just now he will finally start to be relevant week to week, Start Em!

Sit Em’

Eric Decker, Denver Broncos vs New York Jets

Since Tebow has taken over Decker doesn’t have many yards, but he has scored in three straight games. But that streak will come to an end this week against the Jets. Tebow’s favorite wideout will most likely be covered by Revis and we know all know what that means.

Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons vs Tennessee

Really was hesitant putting White down here, but just having a tough time picking against wideouts this week. White hasn’t been what many owners expected, he’s really been hurt by Matt Ryan’s bad play. White only has one 100-yard game all year with just 3 TD’s. I would say so far White has been a fantasy bust. I’m still waiting for that breakout game for White, I think it will come and he will start to turn it around, but it won’t come this week against Tennessee and their secondary allowing the 6th fewest points to Fantasy WR’s. If you have better options, you might want to sit White in Week 11, I am expecting a scoreless 5 catch 60-yard type of game from White, which is similar to what he’s done all year.

TE’s Start Em’

Ed Dickson, Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati

Flacco has been been terrible this season, but at least Ed Dickson is having a fairly nice season. Last week Dickson had 10 catches 79 yards and 2 TD’s. Look for the struggling Flacco to find his safety net Dickson, once again.

Tony Gonzalez, Atlanta Falcons vs Tennessee

The Ol’ veteran is still getting it done in 2011 and it will continue this week against the Titans who are 27th worst in defending the Tight End. Gonzo will most likely find the endzone in this game.

Visanthe Shiancoe, Minnesota Vikings vs Oakland

Shiancoe has been a bit better with Ponder under the helm, but still has been underwhelming. However, let’s take a shot on him in Week 11 vs Oakland. Minnesota should be right in this game and have plenty of redzone opportunities, leaving a good chance for Shank to find the endzone.

Sit Em’

Jermaine Gresham, Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore

In his first game back from a hamstring injury, Gresham found the endzone against Pittsburgh last week, but you need to avoid him against Baltimore who is #1 at defending the Tight End, allowing just eight points a game.

Dustin Keller, New York Jets @ Denver

It happens every year, Keller starts out hot then dies out in the middle of the year only to pick it back up again towards the end of the season and in the playoffs. Well it’s the middle of the year and Keller is proving to be inconsistent once again, but the bigger issue is Denver being 4th best in guarding the Tight End.

IDP’s Start Em

Earl Thomas, S, Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis

I noticed today that Thomas is owned in only 16% of Yahoo leagues, which is not really doing him justice. Thomas has been the Seahawks best defensive player in 2011 and needs to be added if available in your league. Give him the start this week against St. Louis and watch him play if you can.

Cliff Avril, DE, Detroit Lions vs Carolina

Avril picked up another sack and forced fumble last week against Chicago and now has 6 sacks in nine games this year. He’s been heating up the past two weeks and I expect him to continue it this week against Carolina. If he can bring Tim Tebow down which he did multiple times in Week 8, he can bring Cam Newton down as well.

David Harris, LB, New York Jets @ Denver

Harris is going to have plenty of chances to rack up tackles against Denver and their extremely run heavy offense. Harris will finish with 10+ tackles in this matchup.

Sit Em’

Darelle Revis, CB, New York Jets @ Denver

Tim Tebow has protected the ball pretty well this year throwing just one interception in four starts. He’s going to make sure to keep it that way by avoiding Darrelle Revis. Revis will rack up some tackles, but he won’t have any pass defelections or Int’s in this one.

Richard Seymour, DE, DT, Oakland Raiders @ Minnesota

Seymour is a bit banged up right now and has been ice cold the last few weeks, failing to do much of anything. Keep him on your bench until he shows he’s fully healthy and starts to produce again.
